Why Pro Sports Need Newspapers
A
Blogs You Should be Reading

I don't think I've posted about this site before, but it is awesome if you follow any sports. Basically, you make an account and then set up which sports you follow (I have it set up for NFL and NCAA Men's Basketball) and your cable or satellite provider, and then the site will e-mail and/or text you if a game on TV is close or exciting (i.e. it's an upset, it's in overtime, whatever). It's great if you're a sports fan like me — I follow some teams, but if there's a close game on, I'll watch anyone. The site has a lot of other features, but the alerts are the ones I use most.

Is it weird that I’m kind of excited for THUNDER SNOW?

Baxter in the snow, originally uploaded by Kim Reed.
We’re supposed to get 8 - 12 inches of snow today. This is my before picture. Baxter was outside for all of thirty seconds and already had this much snow on his back, so it’s coming down pretty fast. Glad I don’t have anywhere to go today!
